Read QR images without a second phone
Use chat screenshots, saved photos or posters. Choose files, drag them in or paste a screenshot to read the original QR text directly on your device.
At a glance
- Input
- PNG, JPEG or WebP images and screenshots, including multiple QR codes in one image.
- Output
- Original text, URLs and CSV results, with options to generate new QR codes or print labels.
- Limits
- Up to 100 images per list; 10 MB and 40 megapixels per image. Images with a longest edge above 3,000 pixels are downscaled for decoding.
Add PNG, JPEG or WebP images, up to 100 per list. Each must be at most 10 MB; reduce images over 40 megapixels first.
Review results and location markers. Each code in an image is kept separately, even when several codes contain the same text.
Copy text, export CSV or send selected results to batch creation. URLs are never opened automatically; you choose whether to open them.
Good to know
What if the image is blurry or the code is tiny?
Use a clear original and preserve the space around the code. Images larger than 3000 px on the longest edge are reduced, which may hide tiny codes. Crop around the complete code and try again.
Can I extract multiple codes with identical content?
Yes. Results keep the source image and code position, including duplicates. You can remove duplicate content when sending results to other tools and retry unread images separately.
Why do some CSV values have a protective prefix?
Spreadsheet apps may interpret text beginning with characters such as = as a formula. CSV exports add a protective text prefix to prevent formula execution when opened. The original values and regenerated QR content remain unchanged.
